CONSTRUCTION FEATURES
HC pumps are single stage, single suction, horizontal spindle type. They are made in accordance with DIN 24255.
CASING : High efficiency volute type. Sunction and discharge nozzles as well as the supporting feet are cast integral with the casting.
IMPELLER : Enclosed type and accurately balanced dynamically. Hydraulically balanced by back venes and for large impellers by balancing holes.
SHAFT : The shaft units cover complete range of HC pumps. Made of high tensile steel and accurately ground all over.
STUFFING BOX : Available with suitable gland packing. Mechanical seal arrangement available on request.
DIRCTION OF ROTATION : Clockwise when seen from driving end.
FLANGES : As per DIN 2533. Drilling as per ASA/BS also available.
MATERIAL OF CONSTRUCTION : Available in different combinations of cast iron, bronze and phosphor bronze for the main components.
APPLICATIONS For pumping clear or turbid water upto 3000 ppm. Ideally suitable in circulating systems in industry, irrigation, spinkler system, booster service, fire fighting, airconditioning, pumping liquids having temperature in the range of -100 C to 1000 C.
